Here one can learn about the ancient architecture and the influence of Hinduism and Buddhism on the state. For adventure travelers must visit sites by Chhattisgarh tourism are Keshkal Valley, Kutumbsar caves, Chitrakoot falls and Kailash caves. These sites are ideal for hiking and camping trips and to enjoy the calm beauty of nature.

In addition there are plenty of Hindu temples as well several parts of the state. The small town of Malhar is famous for ancient Pataleshwar temple, Devri temple & Dindeshwari temple.

Since 44 per cent of the state is covered with forest, tourists will definitely love wildlife safari tours. The three national parks and eleven bird sanctuaries of Chhattisgarh gives travelers great chance of view the wildlife diverseness of the state. During the wildlife safaris tourists will come across several rare animals that are hardly sighted anywhere else in India. Bird Sanctuaries of Chhattisgarh are ideal for birdwatching. Don't forget to bring you camera and you will go back capturing flicks of several species of beautiful birds.

Tourists will also get the chance to explore local culture. There are 35 tribes in state each with its own tradition and culture. The tribal dance forms like Panthi, Pandwani, Rawat Nacha, Soowa Nacha and Karma will help you understand the local culture and beliefs.
