At last some respite for Gulf Tourism as BP finally managed to stop oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. BP managed to plug oil leak in gulf of Mexico three months after the disaster.

BP announced that a cap placed on the well has successfully managed to block the flow of oil into the ocean however company still needs to conduct some tests to make sure that the well has been plugged properly. These tests will take at least 48 hours to confirm BP success in curbing oil spill.

BP further said that even if there is no oil spill for next 2 days if does not means that we have successfully blocked oil spill permanently. The pressure testing is necessary to check the strength of the huge well. Company has reminded everyone that this cap is temporary solution of the problem, for permanent solution we'll still have to wait for one of two relief wells currently being drilled, reaches broken well.

Tourism Industry is cautiously optimistic from the turn of events, however since oil continues to reach shores, it will take sometime before tourism can rebound in the affected states. There is lot of spilled oil which will continue to hit beaches of Florida, Louisiana, Alabama etc. BP will have to come up with ways to extract spilled oil out from the ocean.

It took BP three months to curb oil spill which destroyed Tourism in Gulf States like Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana etc. Oil spilled from the Gulf of Mexico has ruined several beaches and has become worst geological disaster in the history of United States.
