Budapest Gay Pride 2010

Budapest Gay Pride Parade is largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual event in Hungary. Budapest Gay Pride Parade 2010 will mark 15th anniversary of the event with one week long cultural event in Budapest.

This year Budapest Gay Pride Festival will take place from July 4th to July 11th 2010. After the opening ceremony on 4th of July, "I Love You, Phillip Morris" an American movie was screened. Film Festival in the Gay Pride will take place from 5 July to 9 July and on 11th July at Művész mozi.

Budapest Gay Pride has been one of the violent Parades in the past. Every Year there's been few incidents of violence during the event. Couple of days ago small group of people wearing extremist symbols assaulted several participants of the Gay Pride, after which police arrived at the scene. This incident has triggered Travel Advisory for the Gay Pride but Organizers are requesting people to participate in the event to support Human Rights.
