Florida To Lure European Tourists With Nude Beaches

Florida county has decided to promote nude beaches in Europe to lure tourists. Posco County in Florida has approved funds to promote nude beaches in Europe to boost tourism in the county.

Posco county has several nude beaches that it looks to promote in Europe. The county is hoping to lure European tourists during the months of July and August which is traditionally slow time for tourism in the county.

The county commissioners have approved funding of $4000 to develop Nude tourism in the county. The money will go to Pasco Area Naturist Development Association, an organization that goes by the name PANDAbare. This organization first endorsed the idea back in 2008 but at that time, Pasco county rejected it.

Things are different this time around. Global economic slowdown and the gulf oil spill has hit tourism hard across Florida. There Pasco has decided to go with nude tourism. The county is going to focus largely on countries like France, England, Germany and Netherlands.

According to tourism officials, there are over 19 million practicing nudists in Europe. Pasco county is going to target these people and lure them its nude beaches.
