Los Angeles Gay Pride 2011

Los Angeles Gay Pride is one of the biggest LGBT festival on the year. The Los Angeles Gay Pride 2011 will take place from June 10 to June 12 featuring several performances, shows parties etc.

The Los Angeles Gay Pride is celebrated in honor of the biggest event in the lesbian and gay rights history , the Stonewall Riots on 1969 in the New York City. This year it will be 41st anniversary of the Los Angeles Gay Pride making it one of the oldest gay event in the world.

The 3 day event will begin with the Dyke March and Purple Party which will take place on Friday June 10 at 7:30pm on San Vicente Boulevard. There will be free party that will start around 5pm until midnight. Exotic City, another popular event of the Pride will also return this year.

LA Pride Festival with plenty of entertainment, exhibition will take place for 2 days June 11 and 12 within West Hollywood Park, on San Vicente Blvd. from Santa Monica Blvd. to Melrose Ave. There will be plenty of entertainment, stage shows etc.

The main event of the LA Gay Pride will be LA Pride Parade that will take place on Sunday June 12. The Grand Marshal of this year's parade will be Johnny Weir. More than 400,000 people are expected to participate in the parade that will be full of music, dance colorful dresses etc. The Parade will start at 11am from the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Crescent Heights Blvd.and will end at the Robertson Boulevard.
