Grimsvotn Volcano - Located in the Vatnajökull ice cap, Grimsvotn is the most active volcano in Iceland. Grimsvotn Volcano has erupted over 60 times in last 800 years. The volcano last erupted few weeks ago. The best way to reach Grimsvotn volcano is to hire a jeep from Hrauneyjar. There are several jeep tours available to reach Grimsvotn Volcano.
Reykjanes - Reykjanes volcanic system is situated near the captial of Iceland, Reykjavík. The Reykjanes volcanic system is also home of the most popular tourist attraction in Iceland, Blue Lagoon. Reykjanes is quite close to the Reykjavik. Tourists can hire a car and reach the volcanic system in one hour or so. You can also reach Reykjanes from Grindavík, Njarðvík and Keflavík.

Eyjafjallajökull Volcano - Who can forget this unpronounceable volcano. Eyjafjallajökull volcano last erupted in 2010 and forced thousands of travelers to call airport their temporary home. Eyjafjallajökull volcano put Iceland on the tourism map. The volcano is located west of Mýrdalsjökull. Usually tourists visit both Katla and Eyjafjallajökull volcano.
