15 Injured As Jet Airways Flight Evacuated After Fire Alarm

A Jet Airway flight from Mumbai to Chennai was evacuated after fire alarm went off. Jet Airways flight immediately stopped which injured 15 passengers.

The accident took place at Mumbai Airport, as the Jet Airways flight with 150 passengers was about to take off, a fire alarm indicating engine fire went off in the cockpit. The pilot followed the standard safety procedures and deployed chutes to help people get out of the plane through emergency exits.

After the announcement by the captain to get out of the plane, passengers panicked which injured 15 people in process of getting out of plane. All the passengers were accompanied by the airline officials to the terminal.

out of 15 injured 3 had fractures, they were sent to Sujoy Hospital and Nanavati Hospital. Other passengers were treated at the airport for minor bruises. None of the passenger has received any fatal injuries.

A team of firemen charged towards the plane to control the fire, but they could not find fire at the plane. Aircraft was taken to a isolated place for inspection and determining the cause of fire alarm to went off.
