Valmiki National Park is one of the tiger reserves in India. The Valmiki National Park is located in the West Champaran district of Bihar in India. There are 10 tigers at the park which makes Valmiki is on the fourth spot of the national parks in India with maximum tigers.
Despite being a tiger reserve, Valmiki lacks the infrastructure to support mass scale tourism. Valmiki National park is ideal for small family gateways. The best time to visit the national park is between October and June.
ATTRACTIONS
The main attraction of the park is Bengal tiger. Most tourists travel to Valmiki National Park to get a glimpse king of the beasts. There are only 10 tigers at the park therefore, sometimes it could be difficult to spot the tiger.
Other wildlife species tourists can enjoy at the national park are wolves, deer, sloth bears, Nilgai, Cheetal, Single-Horned Rhinoceros, Indian Bison, hyenas, jungle cats etc.
The best way to travel around the park is jungle safaris that are arranged by the forest department. Jungle Safaris are the best way to spot several species of wildlife animals in the park. It is also the best way to spot Bengal Tiger since forest department usually have some idea of the locations of tigers.
ACCOMODATION
