HOW TO REACH

By plane - An airport serving domestic flights can be found in Bursa. However, in order to get to Bursa from another country by plane, you will have to take a transit flight via one of Turkey's international airports. In most cases, you will probably be arriving to Bursa from the following airports:

İstanbul Atatürk Airport
İstanbul Sabiha Göçken Airport
Ankara Esenboğa International Airport
İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport

There are other international airports in Turkey, but these happen to be the biggest.

By train - There is no railway in Bursa.

By bus - Take a bus from Istanbul. It takes about 3 hours and the ticket is 10 euros.

By boat - Take the ferries from Istanbul Yenikapı terminal (in the European part of Istanbul in Eminönü) to Yalova, then a bus or a dolmuş to Bursa. A fastest option is the new ferry between Istanbul and Bursa. It leaves from Yenikapı and actually anchors in Güzelyalı after 75 minutes (20 Lira). From there take the bus (2 Lira) which drives to a metrostation. The metro goes to Bursa, get out the last stop for the citycentre (1,50 Lira). The whole journey from Istanbul to Bursa this way will take about 2,5 hours.
